Being picked up at the airport by a chauffeur driven car/limo can save you a lot of time, worry and stress. There is no waiting for taxis, there is no waiting to pick up a rental car and there is no need to try to read a street directory and drive at the same time.
You also don’t need to struggle with luggage as the chauffeur will do that while you sit back and pour yourself a drink.
There are several things you need to consider before you book your chauffeur driven transport to ensure you really can relax. For example, what type of limo do you need? A standard limo is simply a normal car with a longer wheelbase for more passenger leg room and can hold three passengers, plus luggage. A stretch limo can seat up to eight people, plus their luggage, while a private bus can seat upwards of 14 people, plus luggage. So it all depends on your budget and preferences.
Obviously, the bigger the vehicle, the more expensive it is, so a standard limo is one of the most budget friendly options. When hiring a larger vehicle, you will be offered the option of taking a private or shared ride.
A private ride is obviously private and includes only you and your guests. A shared ride is where there are other passengers (strangers) who will be picked up and dropped off at different points to yourself. This is also a cheaper option as the cost is shared, but it may also be a costly inconvenience. One of the other passengers may be late, there may be additional traffic and you in turn are late for your plane or meeting because of the other passengers…
