When your business grows, gets busy and has more customers, enquiries and phone calls than you can handle, you have to let go a little and hire a bit more help. While you would rather stick to your own staff and the people you know and have carefully selected, sometimes there is a need to source work out to other people.

For example, some limo hire companies need to use outsourced dispatch services to deal with the volume of calls. This allows them to take calls at all hours, even when the office is closed and not have to pass their customers off to a machine and make them wait for a response.

Making sure that a limo hire company office is always able to answer calls not only helps to ensure that enquiries are converted into sales, but also that any issues with a limo ride are able to be resolved, or at least passed on to someone who can help deal with them. However, if you are still not comfortable about outsourcing the work of dealing one on one with your limo hire customers, then you can easily make up a schedule for your existing staff and man the phones yourselves.

For example, you can run shifts between your staff so that there is always someone to answer the phones, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can do this by having these staff members in your office during business hours, and then allowing them to work from home on the weekends and late at night and into the early morning when your offices are closed.

These staff members are then responsible for taking calls, tracking vehicles and taking new limo hire orders. You can then pay them either a flat hourly rate, or negotiate a pay per call and pay per customer rate. In having these staff track their calls to allow you to pay for them individually, you are able to also clearly see the phone activity, and check that they correctly tracked their limousines.

Regardless of the method your limo hire company uses to take care of high call volumes, remember that by ensuring your staff can always take calls, not only helps you look after your customers, but also helps you appear as a big limo hire company with a 24/7 phone service.
