Everyone has the right to look good, so why would anyone deny anyone else that right? Or make them feel bad about feeling good? Maybe I notice it because I was quite tall and skinny during most of my school years, but people are always willing to point the finger at someone who is too thin; equally now as an adult I am supposed to be budgeting and paying off my mortgage – which I am – but am still made to feel a guilty for buying new clothes?!
But everyone want to look and feel good, it’s not shallow, it’s just natural and we all have the right to feel good and look good without being made to feel like we are being frivolous or starving ourselves or spending money we don’t have because no one can judge your situation but you. So to make yourself feel good without worrying about what other people think, organise a glamorous night out, complete with limo hire – you have the right to feel good. Viva limo hire!
