New Years Celebrations in Edinburgh...

Life is full of celebrations, that is what makes it worth living. Therefore, when these opportunities for celebration come along, you want to make sure you do it right.

If you are fast approaching another New Year's Eve at the same local pub surrounded by the same drunken locals, STOP! There is a better way this year. Simply make your way to Edinburgh for Hogmanay 2006>07, commonly known as the best New Year's celebrations in the world.

With all of this celebrating you won't want to have to worry about your car either. Therefore, make sure you hire a stretch or standard limousine to get you and your friends up to Edinburgh for a week of partying to round off the year. For a quote and information on limos available for this trip, contact Limo Broker who will be able to book you a limo nearby.

The celebrations start in Edinburgh after Christmas on the 29th of December with a torchlight procession with the funds from torch sales going to charity. Each year the procession weaves through the streets of Edinburgh and has a different theme.

The Night Afore International arts carnival is held on George Street in the heart of the city. The 2005 event was produced in partnership with Barcelona and Catalonia and saw fire breathing dragons, Catalonian drummers, Barcelonan tap dancers as well as a spread of traditional foods including Spanish Paella and a range of tapas.

The big night, December 31, includes revelry far and wide. You can attend the Royal Bank Street Party in the city centre and welcome in the New Year in front of the castle while enjoying the live music and performers.

Or there is a concert in the West Princes Street Gardens and with an impressive all Scottish line up in 2005, this year will not disappoint. But what would New Year's Eve be without fireworks, so at midnight you can witness the Seven Hills Fireworks which light up Edinburgh castle and the six hills around the city. There are also numerous other parties and concerts scheduled around the city.

For the first day of the New Year there is a lot of action planned, a fun run down the mile, a Malamute and Husky dog race and a triathlon for adults and kids.

So for a week of serious partying, call your chauffeur and head to the New Year's Eve party capital of the world.
