Preparing Yourself for your Wedding Day

Weddings can be a very exciting time, there are so many things to organise and get prepared, and before you know it the wedding day is just a week away. For many of us this may seem like a familiar story.

But for those of us who still have to experience the joys of preparing a wedding all the preparations may be getting the better of you, and over time you make feel extremely drained, and this may begin to show on your skin and the way that you feel in general.

Give yourself plenty of time to organise the wedding. It's a good idea to have someone on your side. Maybe your mother/father or someone who got married recently. They will help you relate to things in a faster, efficient way.

All weddings are very different in many ways. Some involve a lot of time where as others can be easily done. You will find that Asian / Indian weddings are quite difficult to organise because there are many different traditional factors which must be followed.

No matter what type of wedding you are having, it's always important to be healthy and fit for the day. There are so many events that you have to prepare for that it can become easy to forget important factors, such as looking after your health.

Make sure that you get plenty of rest,  getting a good nights sleep can make all the difference on the energy levels that you have for the next morning. Because you may be more active than before you may feel that you are eating more than usual. Don't worry-remember to pace your meals well and eat in moderation. There are some useful health guides that you may be able to obtain from your local health clinic or GP. Alternatively you may be able to to buy some books from your local bookstore to guide you through healthy eating. (Remember to maintain a balanced diet and drink plenty of water) For more information you can visit www.eatwell.gov.uk.

For those of you who have always thought about joining a gym-well now is probably a really good time, and if you are already a member keep up the hard work. Having a workout can help to relieve stress and build up energy levels. Finding the right gym for yourself is really important. Choose a gym that you feel comfortable with and suits your working hours, always check that you are not being signed up for a years contract, because if you do decide to move home you will still have to pay for the full year.

Looking the best for your big day is probably really important, find yourself a beauty consultant/beautician that you can trust who will be able to give you purifying facials. You can find qualified and trained beauty therapists at your local gym/spa who will be able to advise you on the right products to use on your skin type.

Remember if you are about to start using new products give your body and skin plenty of time to adjust to the products as sometimes some products can cause adverse reactions. this applies to to getting fake tan. if you do decide to get that extra glow make sure you go to a trusted outlet that you have used before and are familiar with and remember to book well in advance.

Lastly, don't forget that relaxation is the best way to relieve stress and function more efficiently. Why not pamper yourself with a day out to a health spa with your friends. You can make the occasion extra special by arriving in style in a limousine. Don't forget it is a time for you to relax and enjoy being spoilt so don't bring your wedding checklist with. Just put it aside for the weekend. There are many spa's to choose from around the country and so many packages to cater for your requirements that you will be spoilt for choice.

This information is a guideline to getting yourself prepared, you may feel that you have found other ways to to prepare your self, if you have any comments or ideas that will help other brides/grooms to be then please contact us.
