When planning your second wedding you can of course choose any style, theme and location you like. With this in mind, many couples are now combining their second wedding with their honeymoon in a destination wedding.

Remember to notify your guests around five months before the wedding to make sure they are able to organise time off work and travel arrangements. It is also a good idea to reserve a group of seats on the plane for your guests as well as rooms at a couple of hotels near the venue, in different price ranges.

Destination weddings are often more intimate as not all of your guests will be able to travel to your wedding. This does make it the ideal option for a second wedding where the wedding is about the couple, not just the wedding day.
