Limousine Hire Companies...
:: What to look at when hiring a limousine ::
When trying to decide which limo and which hire company to use, there are a few simple things to look at which will give you an indication of the type of business you are dealing with and whether you really want to be dealing with them.
All limousine hire companies are different; one may pride themselves on their service, another on their immaculate limousines. It is possible however to find companies which are professional all round.
The way your inquiry is treated is a good way to gauge the company's service guidelines. This means looking at how quickly your query was answered, did the company take the time to take into consideration all of your requirements and fully understand them and is the quote comprehensive and professional or is it simply a figure.
Also, if you make an inquiry over the phone you can take note of the way the phone is answered, how many rings you had to wait before your call was answered, were you left on hold, was everyone you spoke to friendly and will you receive a written confirmation of your quote.
If you are comparing limo hire companies online, look at their website for signs of the type of business they are running. Is there a land line phone number or just a mobile number, is there a street address or just a PO box? While these should not be the sole factors used to decide the company's credibility, they can flag your attention.
When looking at company websites try to decide if the pictures of the limos are simply generic pictures or if they are pictures of the company's actual limos. There may be a reason they do not want to show heir actual limos so see if you can recognise local landscapes in photos or see if the car's licence plate is locally registered.
Also look out for the state the limousines are in. Stretch limos in particular are expensive to service and repair and this may have been left as late as possible. Therefore ask to see service records to the exact vehicle you intend to hire.
In short, the limousine hire company should be willing to be straight forward with you and tell you everything you need to know without you having to ask hundreds of questions. If they're not, don't be afraid to ask, you are the customer and you have a right to know all about the product you are intending to hire.
