Top tips for planning a fantastic stag do
Being asked to be best man at a wedding is a great honour, but a role that comes with a lot of pressure too! Along with giving a speech and helping the wedding day run smoothly, you'll also be expected to plan a fantastic stag do. But don't panic! Here are our top tips for planning a stag do you'll never forget.
First, don't be afraid to think outside the box. While traditional stag party
activities will always be popular, it's important to choose something the groom-to-be will enjoy. Why not plan a party based around their favourite hobby or sport, or enjoy an action-packed activity weekend? Once you've decided where you're going, make sure you take everything you need. Even if you're eating out take plenty of snacks, and balance out the beer with a selection of soft drinks to ensure you don't peak too soon.
On the night itself, plan everything you can in advance so you can relax and enjoy the party. Food, games and entertainment can all be prepared in advance, and don't be afraid to enlist the help of friends - being best man doesn't mean having to do everything by yourself! Another great way to take the hassle out of stag do planning is to hire a limousine and driver to take care of you on the night. They're surprisingly good value once split between a group of people, and are a fun and indulgent way to spend an evening you'll never forget.
